Course Memo

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or instructor consent. This course employs art media to explore and comprehend environmental topics and concerns. It is designed to help the student gain an understanding of how works of art are employed to address visual environmental communication by exploring both expressive and documentary models. The purpose of the course is to teach the student to use art as a communication tool, to explore environmental theories, issues, and practices and to learn the practical application of matching medium to content.
