Course Memo

This course introduces the methodologies, resources, and assessments for teaching all children reading and language arts at the elementary school level, grades 1-3. Pre-service teachers will develop instructional strategies for teaching and assessing phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
