Course Memo
Prerequisites: MAT271, CHM132 and PHY220. (Offered in alternate years). Development of the principles of classical and statistical Thermodynamics. Includes a discussion of chemical dynamics as well as kinetic theory of gases and equations of state. The differences between kinetic and thermodynamic driving forces of reactions will also be examined. Lecture and laboratory. (Cross-listed as PHY335W).
