Course Memo
Recommended Prerequisites: ART106 and ART206. This class introduces type as a compositional tool in graphic design, from letterforms to page layout. History and theory of basic typography as a method of communication will also be explored. By the end of this course, students should have a strong foundation in and appreciation for typography.
