Course Memo

Prerequisite: MUS120 and MUS125 or instructor consent. Corequisite: MUS220 or instructor consent. (Offered in alternate years). Musicianship is about developing the musical ear through sight-singing, aural identification, keyboard, dictation, improvisation, and other approaches. This course will enable students to internalize the concepts presented in MUS220 Music Theory II, gaining fluency on those topics in order to apply them in music-making and listening. Open to both majors and non-majors.
