Course Memo

Prerequisite: ENG103W or instructor consent; may be repeated for credit. A study of literature from outside the Euro-American canon. Sections organized around particular national literatures, literary movements, or theoretical frameworks. Section topics may include Postcolonial Literature, African fiction, Magical Realism, etc. Works will be studied within their appropriate cultural, historical, and political context. All readings in original or translated English. Intercultural Understanding Capability Course.
