Course Memo
Prerequisite: Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing. (Offered annually). Study of the areas within the traditional field of motor skill acquisition including motor learning (the relatively permanent change in the performance of a motor skill resulting from experience and/or practice), motor development (the aspects of motor skill acquisition resulting from heredity), and motor control (the cognitive bases of motor skill acquisition and the organization and application of these during controlled, skilled movement).
